Guidelines and Policies
We know God has created his children uniquely and we strive to do our best to train and raise up Kingdom leaders. And in support of making sure our students become great leaders; we expect them to exercise respectful behavior, we guide them through prayers, and we support them by leveraging Kingdom Christian Counseling services as needed.
Misbehavior Guidelines
We ask that parents and/or guardians come into partnership with us to ensure the students are respectful, responsible, and engaged every day in all classes. Should we have a student who consistently misbehave, we will enforce the following disciplinary actions, not limited to:

-
Disrespect – mistreatment against other students, instructors, members, and other volunteers
-
Disobedience – refusal or failure to follow instructions of instructors, members and other volunteers, disregarding authority
-
Disruption – causing interruption in class or during activities (playing, talking, and doing other things to disrupt)
-
Dress Code – refusing to wear uniforms and not following dress code
-
Inappropriate Language – using God’s name in vain, saying words that are harmful, hurtful, or insulting other students, instructors, members and/or volunteers
-
Inappropriate Physical Contact – participating in hugging, kissing, holding hands, touching others in uncomfortable areas, fighting and related activities

Consequences
While many instructors, members and/or volunteers may be forgiving and may receive apologies, students are still responsible for their behavior.

If a student violates the above disciplinary actions, after being reminded at least twice by the instructor, member and/or volunteers to refrain from repeating the action; an instructor, member or volunteer may impose the following:

-
1st Offense
-
The student is immediately removed from participating in the classroom or the activity. And at the discretion of the instructor, member and/or volunteer, the student may return to finish the lesson or activity.
-
-
2nd Offense
-
If after the student has been told more than twice to immediately stop engaging in any of the above actions, has been removed from the lesson or activity before and repeats the action, he/she will be removed from the classroom and will spend the rest of the day with a governing member or administrator. The governing member or administrator will contact the parent and/or guardian to let them know of the action being taken for the day and document the action and response.
-
Any student who engages in any action above during multiple instances, and has been reminded of their 1st Offense and 2nd Offense, may be sent home for the day by a governing member or administrator. The student will not be allowed to participate in any more activities or field trips. There are no exceptions.
-
3rd Offense
-
If a student violates any of the above actions for a 3rd time, a governing member or administrator will contact the parents and/or guardian to further discuss and to put together a disciplinary plan.
-
Governing Right
A student who continues to violate the above actions beyond the 3rd Offense will be dismissed indefinitely by the Governing Board. Any reconsideration must be in writing addressed to the Governing Board no later than 15 days after dismissal. Any request for reconsideration after this period will not be considered.
Other Offense, will not be tolerated and will follow the same guidelines as above. These are but not limited to:
-
Bullying

Furthermore
If a student breaches that disciplinary plan set forth by the governing member or administrator and the parent and/or guardian, a student may be removed from school for no less than three days.
Any student who engages in major behavioral issues such as fighting, drugs, alcohol, threat, arson or harassment (verbal or non-verbal), control or exert of power/force will be removed immediately from school for the day. A governing member or administrator reserves the right to refuse the student from returning to school until a disciplinary plan has been agreed upon by the parent and/or guardian and the governing member or administrator. If needed, a governing member or administrator may immediately contact the parent or guardian and authorities without the consent of the parent or guardian. Any legal issues or costs associated as a result will be at the expense of the parent or guardian.
Students are not allowed to carry or bring any guns, knives or any other weapon, drugs, or alcohol onto the premises at any time regardless of if it is a school day or not.
Note: If a disciplinary plan has not been agreed upon by both the parent and/guardian and the governing member or administrator, the student may not return to school.
